Abstract

The article reviews cases involving animal tort and insurance law as of October 2025. Topics discussed include legal issues concerning dog bites, vicious propensities, duty to business invitee, and dog bite statutes, emotional distress with causes of action and damages, equine-related injury and liability, and livestock at large. Also noted are insurance coverages in animal-related incidents, and loose cattle, dog bites, and the duties to defend and indemnify under homeowner's insurance.
