Abstract

The Milken Institute Global Conference, often referred to as the Davos of the West, is set to begin in Beverly Hills, California. The conference will feature a diverse range of speakers, including Elon Musk, who will be interviewed by Michael Milken. Wall Street attendees are particularly concerned about interest rates, the slowdown in mergers and acquisitions, and the prospects for dealmaking. The lack of new deals has left private equity and private credit firms with large amounts of uninvested capital. The conference will also address topics such as private equity, the diversity and inclusion movement, and Israel-Palestine relations. [Extracted from the article]
