Abstract
This article discusses the implications of Russia's withdrawal from Syria and the subsequent power vacuum that has been filled by Iranian and Hezbollah forces. The withdrawal has led to a shift in the balance of power in favor of Iran, which poses new challenges for Russia, Israel, and the West. Iran and Hezbollah have actively sought to open a new front against Israel, while Russia has acted as a restraining force against Iran's expansion. The absence of Russia's influence in Syria could potentially lead to increased regional tensions and instability. The article suggests that the United States may need to maintain its military presence in Syria and establish clear boundaries with Turkey to address these challenges. [Extracted from the article]
