Abstract

The article presents the discussion on state's crime rate not be published in the 1971 edition of the regime's annual statistical yearbook. Topics include regarding acts of ‘everyday criminality' such as burglary, theft, robbery, assault, arson, rape and murder appearing in the book; and stealing of ‘luxury' items such as coffee, cigarettes, alcohol or fashionable clothing proliferated.
