Abstract

The article presents the discussion on DEA supporting elimination of X-waiver for buprenorphine. Topics include DATA-Waiver registration being no longer required to treat patients with buprenorphine for opioid use disorder; and no longer any limits or patient caps on the number of patients a prescriber treating for opioid use disorder with buprenorphine.
