Abstract

The article focuses on the complexities of homelessness in the United States and the importance of the McKinney-Vento Homelessness Assistance Act in addressing this issue. It highlights the need for both upstream prevention strategies for at-risk individuals and downstream services for those currently experiencing homelessness, emphasizing the role of Continuums of Care (CoCs) in implementing holistic solutions.
