Abstract
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in a case against a former New York regulator. The NRA claimed that the regulator violated its First Amendment rights by pressuring insurers and banks to end their relationships with the NRA. The Supreme Court found the NRA's allegations to be plausible and sent the case back to the circuit court for further proceedings. The court stated that government officials cannot use their power to punish or suppress views they disagree with. [Extracted from the article]
