Abstract

The article comments on the emerging and under-considered consequences of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in abortion-related court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization (JWHO). Topics include the arguments of the JWHO about a Mississippi law prohibiting most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, the constitutional right to abortion as the court held in the abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, and an analysis of Dobb's main consequence on U.S. abortion laws.
