Abstract
Senate Democrats have voted to subpoena Harlan Crow and Leonard Leo as part of an investigation into an ethics scandal involving the US Supreme Court. Crow, a GOP megadonor, and Leo, a top official with the Federalist Society, have been accused of funding lavish trips and luxury gifts for Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. The subpoenas were authorized after Republicans walked out of the hearing room in protest. If Crow and Leo refuse to comply with the subpoenas, the legal fight could potentially be appealed to the Supreme Court itself. [Extracted from the article]
