Abstract
The article focuses on the retrial of Harvey Weinstein, a former movie mogul, who was convicted on one of three charges related to sex crimes. On June 11, he was found guilty of forcibly subjecting a person to a criminal sex act, while he was acquitted of another sexual assault charge. The judge declared a mistrial on the third charge of third-degree rape due to jurors' inability to reach a verdict, with indications from the Manhattan District Attorney's office that they are prepared to retry this charge. Weinstein is also appealing a separate 2022 conviction for sexual assault in Los Angeles, for which he received a 16-year prison sentence. [Extracted from the article]
