Abstract
A recent study conducted in the U.S. and India found that individuals with a growth mindset are more likely to support increasing the minimum wage for low-wage workers compared to those with a fixed mindset. The study, which involved over 3,000 participants, including HR professionals and small business owners, found that this pattern held true regardless of political beliefs or social class. The researchers suggest that invoking the growth mindset about intelligence could be an effective strategy for grassroots advocates, managers, and leaders seeking support for increasing wages for low-wage workers.
