Abstract
As errors in healthcare can have serious consequences for patients, it is important to try to avoid them. Being cautious at work is no bad thing, as we don’t want to become blasé about our practice. However, when the fear of making a mistake becomes overwhelming, it is important to recognise this and find ways to prevent it from affecting your work and well-being.
