Abstract
The article discusses the key roles played by forensic veterinarians in the investigations on crimes against animals. Also cited are how veterinarian Elizabeth Pearlman of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) helped in the investigation of dogfighting in New York and the importance of cooperation between the police and veterinarians in the implementation of animal law.
