Abstract

The article focuses on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) next-generation identification tool for criminal justice agencies: the NGI Iris Service, which can capture and catalog images with a high rate of accuracy. It mentions some guidelines for best-quality iris images, such as an individual should look straight at the camera with eyes wide open and can not wear glasses but can wear contact lenses if the lenses are not colored or patterned.
