Abstract
The article focuses on exploring the impact of group-based Quran Recitation (QR) sessions on the religiosity, spirituality, and holistic well-being of annual flood victims in Bandung, Indonesia. Using qualitative methods, the study identified a central theme of "Holism of Religiosity and Spirituality," with subthemes including obedience to God's will, growth of a positive mindset through spirituality, and experiencing a more delightful life. Findings suggest that QR chanting supports psychological resilience and spiritual coping by fostering acceptance, gratitude, and calmness among participants, predominantly Muslim women with varied educational backgrounds. The study recommends integrating holistic approaches that incorporate religiosity and spirituality into nursing care, especially in community and disaster settings, and calls for further quantitative research on QR’s therapeutic potential across diverse sociocultural groups.
