Abstract
The article discusses the issue of source of income discrimination faced by individuals utilizing housing vouchers in the United States, highlighting the case of Mr. S who faced discrimination despite qualifying for a housing subsidy. The lack of federal protection against such discrimination has led to rampant bias against voucher holders, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. The article calls for an amendment to the federal Fair Housing Act to include protection based on lawful source of income, emphasizing the importance of addressing this issue to ensure equal access to housing for all individuals.
