Abstract

The article discusses the court case Capitalkeys LLC v. Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), wherein the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit considered whether the sovereign immunity of the Central Bank of DRC was waived using apparent authority of the agent and ratification by the principal to the agent.
