Abstract
Peru's President Dina Boluarte has replaced her finance minister, Jose Salardi, with Raul Perez-Reyes, marking the fourth finance minister change since Boluarte took office in December 2022. The sudden move has caused uncertainty in the economy, with business groups expressing support for Salardi's policies. The shuffle comes as Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen faces a censure vote, with the largest congressional bloc already indicating their intention to vote for his ouster. Boluarte, one of the world's least popular leaders, may need to make additional cabinet changes to secure support in congress. [Extracted from the article]
