Abstract
The article focuses on the history and evolution of Filipino Student Associations (FSAs) and their role in activism and community building among Filipino American students, particularly in Georgia. FSAs have served as vital spaces for cultural celebration, education, and political advocacy since their inception in the early 1900s, responding to challenges such as anti-Asian sentiment and systemic inequities. The Georgia FSA Summit, initiated in 2023, exemplifies contemporary efforts to unite Filipino students across various universities, fostering solidarity, cultural visibility, and civic engagement while addressing issues of identity and representation. Through storytelling and collective action, FSAs continue to empower students and strengthen their communities in the face of ongoing challenges. [Extracted from the article]
