Abstract
This article focuses on the Moby Bookmobile, a nonprofit library program serving the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone Tribal Communities on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming, which enhanced access to health information during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally funded by the Wyoming State Library through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to support literacy, the program later received additional funding from the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 4 to expand its collection of culturally relevant health-related materials. The bookmobile distributed these resources at key community locations, addressing barriers to health education caused by pandemic restrictions and limited library access. Community members expressed appreciation for the health materials, and the program serves as a model for partnerships between libraries, health education, and government agencies to improve health literacy among underserved populations.
