Abstract
Librarians are focusing on teaching information literacy, media literacy, and news literacy to help students navigate the digital world. Concerns about social media's impact on adolescent mental health and the spread of misinformation have made these skills more important than ever. Efforts to incorporate these literacies into K-12 education have gained momentum, with some states passing legislation to prioritize media literacy and news literacy in schools. The goal is to empower students to critically analyze information, engage responsibly, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. [Extracted from the article]
