Abstract

A biography of illustrator and caricaturist David Levine is presented. He was born on December 20, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, and studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and later with Hans Hofmann in New York. He began drawing obsessively as a child, influenced by Walt Disney and Will Eisner, and developed a mastery of line and hatching techniques.
