Abstract

A Wisconsin personal injury law firm, Murphy & Prachthauser, analyzed Google Trends data to determine the most-searched fictional lawyers by region. Harvey Specter from Suits was the top-searched in eight states, while Matt Murdock from Daredevil came in second in seven states. The firm's goal was to combine pop culture with legal themes to attract more traffic to their website, resulting in a blog post that garnered media attention. The analysis revealed regional preferences for different fictional lawyers, with characters like Alicia Florrick, Michael Ross, and Ally McBeal being popular in various states.
