Abstract

The article reflects on his life and the poems of American poet Emily Dickinson and English poet John Keats. Topics discussed include the anguish in the poems of Dickinson, his relationship with his teenage son, his hospitalization due to lung disease, and his dream wherein he was reciting Keats's "Ode to a Nightingale."
