Abstract
The article explores the concept of truth in Iranian philosophy, defining it as a dynamic and secretive process of unveiling that reflects the interplay between hiddenness and revelation. It emphasizes the contributions of Henry Corbin, who synthesized Western phenomenology, particularly Heidegger's ideas, with Iranian mystical traditions, particularly through the concepts of Kashf (uncovering) and ta'wil (interpretation). The article argues that truth in this context is not a static entity but an ongoing encounter characterized by a "missed encounter," where truth is perpetually sought yet remains elusive. This philosophical framework integrates various intellectual traditions, including Greek thought, Zoroastrian cosmology, and Islamic theology, presenting a unique perspective on the nature of truth as an unfolding event rather than a fixed possession.
