Abstract
The article focuses on evaluating the Lucid Dreaming Skills Questionnaire (LUSK) and examining changes in lucid dreaming frequency and skills over a seven-year period. The study with 1,267 participants found that the LUSK reliably measures individual differences in lucid dreaming skills, which correlate positively with lucid dream frequency, though the LUSK scores showed less stability over time than dream frequency. Participants who actively engaged with lucid dreaming during the interval reported increased lucid dream frequency, suggesting that lucid dream induction techniques can be effective outside controlled research settings. The findings support the external validity of lucid dream induction methods and highlight the need for further longitudinal research on lucid dreaming practices and their effects.
