Abstract
The article focuses on Independent Publishers Group (IPG) positioning itself as a key distributor for graphic novels following Diamond Comic Distributors' bankruptcy. With Diamond's collapse creating a void in the direct sales market, IPG has actively sought to attract former Diamond clients, signing nine publishers since September 2025. IPG aims to enhance its graphic novels business and expand distribution to library channels, addressing the needs of smaller publishers that may struggle to find representation elsewhere. Despite the challenges faced by independent publishers in the current market, IPG's efforts reflect a commitment to supporting diverse voices in the comics industry. [Extracted from the article]
