Abstract
The article focuses on the ongoing damage to Ukrainian cultural infrastructure caused by Russian military attacks three years into the invasion of Ukraine. Russian drone and missile strikes have damaged key literary institutions, including the National Writers' Union of Ukraine in Kyiv, the Odesa Literary Museum, numerous bookstores, and printing houses such as Triada-Pak in Kharkiv, a major publishing hub. The national bookstore chain Knygoland has been targeted multiple times, with significant destruction to its stores, while other publishers like Ranok and Fabula have also been affected. According to Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, over 2,200 cultural sites, including 790 libraries, have been damaged or destroyed since February 2022, with the Kharkiv region suffering the most severe impact.
