Harper to Publish Collection of Harper Lee's Stories, Essays.

The article focuses on the acquisition and upcoming publication of *The Land of Sweet Forever: Stories and Essays*, a collection of previously unseen short stories and nonfiction pieces by the late Harper Lee, author of *To Kill a Mockingbird*. Harper president and publisher Jonathan Burnham secured North American rights from the Harper Lee Estate and its representatives. The book, featuring an introduction by Lee's authorized biographer Casey Cep, includes eight early short stories and eight nonfiction works published between 1961 and 2006, all compiled for the first time. It is scheduled for release on October 21 and will be published internationally by various Penguin Random House imprints and other publishers.
