Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of recent milestones. It mentions the deaths of New York City writer Paul Auster and crossword champ Nancy Schuster. The Boy Scouts of America has been renamed to Scouting America in an effort to be more inclusive. Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, has exited the board of social network Bluesky. Presidential elections in Togo have been eliminated, with a new constitution allowing parliament to choose the leader, which critics argue will extend President Faure Gnassingbé's family rule.
