Abstract

The article focuses on the online teaching of Eugène Ionesco's absurd play "The Chairs" during the Covid-19 pandemic, examining how web-based communication enriched the understanding of the play. It highlights the unconventional nature of the play, where invisible guests fill a room, and the absurdity of the old couple's attempt to convey a message through a mute orator, all of which were discussed during the virtual lecture, adding new dimensions to the analysis of the play's themes.
