Abstract
San Diego Comic-Con has expanded beyond just comics and movies to include authors and fans of genre prose. The convention embraces diverse genre promotion and features panels, appearances, and signings related to genre novels and RPGs. Some highlights of the new and upcoming genre titles being featured at SDCC include "The Bright Sword" by Lev Grossman, "Buried Deep and Other Stories" by Naomi Novik, "The Düngeonmeister Random Monster Generator" by Jef Aldrich, Jon Taylor, and Sara Richard, "Murtagh: Deluxe Edition" by Christopher Paolini, "The Night Ends with Fire" by KX Song, and "Vilest Things" by Chloe Gong. These titles cover a range of genres from epic fantasy to Mulan-inspired fantasy and will be showcased at Comic-Con. [Extracted from the article]
