Abstract

The article reviews Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o and Ngũgĩ wa Mirii's play "I Will Marry When I Want" at the Kenya National Theatre in May 13, 2022, including the significance of the play, the challenges of presenting it in a contemporary setting, and reflections on its impact.
