The article focuses on the challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI), in the context of Hollywood writers' strikes and educational adaptation. It explores the dichotomy of either fighting against or embracing AI and raises questions about the necessity of AI development; drawing from the work of philosopher Jacques Ellul; and it highlights how the relentless pursuit of efficiency and technique in a technological society has led to the blurring of human and machine boundaries.
