ON HUMPBACK WHALE SONG AND POETIC CONSTRAINT.

Abstract

The article focuses on writing poetry about humpback whale songs. Topics discussed include information on the "Whale Song" by Margret Grebowicz in the Object Lesson series, a study which showed that whale songs have a specific rhyming pattern, and one of the rules for the "song"-poem which is repetition of sound through assonance and rhyme.
