Abstract
Romina Garber, known for her Zodiac series and the duology containing Lobizona and Cazadora, has released her latest book, Castle of the Cursed. In an interview, Garber discusses the importance of diversity in literature and the need for marginalized voices to be shared and celebrated. She also shares her inspiration for the book, which combines fantasy elements with the experience of being an immigrant in the U.S. Castle of the Cursed is a dark story about grief, featuring a murder mystery, family secrets, paranormal romance, and a gothic setting. Garber drew inspiration from novels such as Dracula and Jane Eyre, as well as Mexican Gothic and Beauty and the Beast. [Extracted from the article]
