Abstract

The article reviews "Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell," a graphic novel by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven, which depicts the final battle of the blind lawyer-turned-vigilante superhero, Matt Murdock. Set in a bleak future where Murdock has lost his crime-fighting abilities and most superheroes are either dead or depowered, he is unexpectedly reactivated by a dirty bomb. Tasked with rescuing a new mutant named Tyra, who may be connected to his allies Cloak and Dagger, Murdock faces his old enemy Bullseye while grappling with the fading of his powers. The narrative features appearances from other Marvel heroes and is noted for its engaging storytelling and artwork reminiscent of Frank Miller's iconic style. [Extracted from the article]
