Abstract
A recent study conducted at the University of Airlangga explores the portrayal of psychotic disorders in Haruki Murakami's novel, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. The research highlights the challenge of identifying and understanding schizophrenia symptoms, as affected individuals become detached from reality. The study suggests that utilizing mythology as a collectively recognized storyline can help those trapped in their fantastical worlds effectively communicate and establish connections with the "true reality."
