Abstract

Investors in FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange, have filed a lawsuit against law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, accusing them of aiding fraudulent activities that contributed to the collapse of the exchange. The investors claim that the law firm went beyond their usual services and engaged in misleading strategies that facilitated FTX's misconduct. This lawsuit adds to the scrutiny faced by Sullivan & Cromwell, which has previously acknowledged working on legal matters for FTX. Another law firm, Fenwick & West, is also facing a separate lawsuit for allegedly aiding and abetting the FTX fraud. Sullivan & Cromwell has declined to comment on the matter.
