Abstract
The article presents "Edeline," a poetic fairytale written in iambic pentameter with an ABAB rhyme scheme, which draws inspiration from the Romantic poets. The narrative follows a hunter who, while pursuing an ibex, becomes enchanted by a mysterious goatherdess in the Alps, leading to a series of magical encounters. The poem explores themes of love, longing, and the interplay between nature and the supernatural, ultimately reflecting on the hunter's emotional turmoil after losing the goatherdess. The piece invites readers to appreciate the beauty and complexity of contemporary poetry that resonates with Romantic traditions. [Extracted from the article]
