Abstract

Girli, a rising alt-pop star, recently released her new album, Matriarchy, which showcases her authentic self. Inspired by a Tegan And Sara concert she attended as a teenager, Girli formed her own bands and eventually launched her solo career. Matriarchy, her second album, allowed her to have more creative control and explore deeper emotions. The album aims to create a safe space for anyone who feels marginalized by society, including women, the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and those with neurodivergence. Girli hopes that her music can provide comfort and understanding to her listeners. [Extracted from the article]
