'Horrible': Congress slams BJP over Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's Draupadi remarks.

Abstract

The Congress party has criticized former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for his remarks comparing the Hooda family's use of wrestlers as wagers to the Pandavas putting Draupadi at stake in the Mahabharata. Singh, who was accused of sexual assault by female wrestlers last year, made the comments at his residence in Uttar Pradesh. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera called Singh's comments "horrible" and questioned the ruling party's stance on women's safety.
