Abstract

An interview with Maggie Nelson, a writer, poet, and professor at the University of Southern California, is presented. She discussed her writing process, influences, and approach to blending theory, autobiography, and personal reflection in her works such as Bluets, The Argonauts, and Pathemata. She also reflected on how her books balance personal experience with scholarly thought, and her interest in themes such as love, freedom, embodiment, and art across her three-decade career.
