Abstract

The article reveals discoveries about portions of the two lost plays by Euripides, the tragedies "Ino" and "Polyidus." A background is provided on plays by Euripides that have survived such as "Rhesus" and "Andromeda." The fragments of discoveries include a discussion between King Minos and Polyidus about the morality of bringing a dead person back to life in"Polyidus" and Ino killing her own children and committing suicide in "Ino."
