Abstract
A recent systematic review conducted by researchers at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, explored the relationship between life regrets and well-being. The study found that greater life regret is associated with negative effects on aspects of well-being such as life satisfaction and depressive symptoms. However, the impact of life regret on well-being may vary across individual differences, and further research with diverse populations and standardized measures is needed to strengthen existing links and identify potential protective factors. The study was published in Frontiers in Psychology in 2024. [Extracted from the article]
