Abstract

The article discusses the author's experience of living in Flannery O'Connor's childhood home in Savannah, Georgia. The author found the apartment for rent during the pandemic and reflects on the continuous presence of O'Connor's legacy around her living space. The house, which functions as a museum devoted to O'Connor's youth, holds historical significance as it was once a basement that may have housed enslaved people before being turned into rental units by O'Connor.
