Abstract
The article focuses on a study that explores the memorable experiences of international tourists at the Yanggakdo Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea, using grounded theory. Researchers analyzed 171 concepts derived from online English reviews on Tripadvisor, identifying 16 subcategories and 6 main categories related to tourists' emotions, psychological changes, and memories. Key findings highlight the influence of tourists' emotional states before arrival, their experiences during the stay, and the memories formed afterward, contributing to a theoretical framework for understanding memorable hotel experiences. The study aims to fill gaps in tourism experience research and offers practical insights for international tourists and North Korean service providers. [Extracted from the article]
