Abstract
A recent study conducted by Mersin University in Turkey examined the effectiveness of a group counseling program based on feminist therapy in empowering women and reducing internalized sexism. The program, designed with the perspective of consciousness-raising groups, showed positive results, with participants experiencing a decrease in internalized sexism levels and an increase in psychological power levels. The findings of this research have implications for mental health and gender studies, and may contribute to future interventions and research aimed at reducing sexism among women.
