Abstract

The article announces the upcoming publication of John Green's second nonfiction book, *Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection*, set for release on March 18 as the inaugural title of Penguin Young Readers' new imprint, Crash Course Books. This imprint, an extension of Green's educational YouTube channel co-run with his brother Hank, focuses on nonfiction for students and lifelong learners. The book explores the scientific and social history of tuberculosis through the story of a young patient in Sierra Leone, highlighting ongoing healthcare inequities that contribute to the disease's persistence despite being curable since the 1950s. The release will include hardcover, e-book, and audiobook formats, with Green narrating the audiobook.
