Abstract
The article examines how Rodgers and Hammerstein's televised adaptations of Cinderella portray relational aggression and aggressive superiority as subtle forms of fairy-tale injustice that mirror real social harms. Topics include relational aggression and microaggressions within the "Cinderella" tale type (ATU 510A); televisual performance, staging, and camera work in the 1957 and 1997 broadcasts; and how inclusive casting and restorative justice challenge macroaggressions and social exclusion.
